ART MATTERS
Art, art and more art. That seemed to be the Friday flavour as the International
festival of art started on a high note. Art lovers in the city could not have been
more happier. Noted artist Amit Ambalal curated a fine show titled ‘Beauty in
Form: The Drawn Image’ at the Contemporary Art Gallery. And Amdavadi Ni
Gufa had another exciting exhibition titled ‘Beauty in Indian Portraiture: Miniature
to Modern Curated’ from Tanuja and Anil Relia’s collection. Those present on
the occasions were wellknown personalities of the city like Varun Maira, Esther
David, Nabibaksh Mansoori, Vrundavan Solanki, Subrata Bhowmick, Shradhavi
Dalal, Shyamal Shodhan, Gajendra Shah and Khanjan Dalal.
