From Figurative to Abstract
Emerging artists Paramita Sarkar and Sunil Yadav have
displayed 50 artworks, primarily figurative and abstract, at Café Galle-
ria at a city club. The show will continue till February 20. Guwahati-
based Paramita’s artworks have glowing colours of the Kalighat paint-
ings, flowing curves and decorative motifs of the kanthas of Bengal.
Subjects of Yadav’s works are journey, village, landscapes, and still life.
